We were recently driving to a camp in Eagle Rock, Missouri, and had to turn around because we missed our turn. With four vehicles it was important that we stayed together. We used community Lutheran Church to turn around because they had a large open area with two entrances and we were pulling a trailer. It was Sunday morning and there were two cars in the parking lot. A third car came in and parked, and shortly after the priest came outside and told us we would have to leave. I assured him we would be gone in about a minute. He said he needed the parking places in 15 minutes and I get assured him we would be gone in a minute. Over the next minute I was told four times we needed to leave. At no point where we asked what we are doing there or where we were going or did we want to go to church. We are at church group that was going to a camp a few miles away. This was not a good example of hospitality. And the adults were all very shocked and surprised.
